PLOP Japan is holding a conference on pattern languages of programs, people and practices. This is a short 'practices' paper submitted to the conference, on the foprop weave, the practice of pattern language(ing) and the conviv project for making a living economy.

We are concerned with making and sustaining the activist capability to make 'a living economy' in the commons, via the cross-generational curating and mobilising of a pattern language. Here we introduce the foprop project as a pattern language(ing) project, and the foprop weave as a frame for the pattern language.
